Process Operators operate and monitor process control machinery and equipment as part of a larger production process to control the processing of mineral ores, molten metals, electrolytic solutions and nickel metal in various forms. This is an entry position to the organization from which motivated individuals will progress to more advanced positions including management roles. These roles exist at all surface plants including milling, smelting and refining operations in Sudbury and Port Colborne, Ontario and Thompson, Manitoba. The work involves shift work on a 24/7 basis. Training is provided to assist with the progression to roles of greater accountability.
